The cosmetics are divided into a few categories: hats, outfits, and facial features. Many require you to reach a specific point on the mountain, while others are tied to complex, and sometimes hilarious, in-game feats.

Hats & Headwear

Hats are the most common type of cosmetic in PEAK, often awarded for reaching key milestones or completing specific, often quirky, challenges.

• Stetson Hat: Awarded for reaching the very top of the mountain. You’ll get the PEAK Badge.
• Propeller Hat: To get this, you must escape the island with a friendly creature known as “Bing Bong,” which is found in the Shore biome. This unlocks the Bing Bong Badge.
• Chef Hat: Earn the Cooking Badge by cooking 20 meals at campfires across different expeditions.
• Mushroom Cap: Get the Mycology Badge by eating four different non-toxic mushrooms in a single expedition.
• Wolf Ears: This cosmetic is for the true solo players. Escape the island in a solo expedition to earn the Lone Wolf Badge.
• Ninja Headband: Earn the Endurance Badge by climbing 50 meters upwards without ever touching the ground. You’ll need some energy drinks or other items to pull this off.
• Aviator Cap: Awarded for passing the Alpine biome, this cosmetic comes with the Alpinist Badge.
• Medic Helmet: A co-op cosmetic. Heal your friends for a total of 100 points of injury in a single expedition to earn the First Aid Badge.
• Flap Hat: Earned by climbing past the Mesa biome, which grants you the Nomad Badge.
• Crown: The most exclusive cosmetic in the game, the Crown is only awarded for unlocking every single achievement in the game.

Outfits

Outfits are full-body cosmetics that change your character’s entire look. They are often tied to significant achievements.

• Scoutmaster Outfit: To get this, you must escape the island without ever losing consciousness. This is a difficult task and earns you the Survivalist Badge.
• Castaway Outfit: This is a humorous cosmetic that requires a friend. You must have a friend escape the island in a server without you, which will award you the Participation Badge.
• Russell’s Outfit: A tribute to the character from the movie Up. To get this, you must escape the island without taking any fall damage, earning the Balloon Badge.
• Sailor Outfit: Another co-op cosmetic. You’ll get the Emergency Preparedness Badge for healing an unconscious friend to save them from death.
• Cowboy Outfit: A newer cosmetic tied to the Mesa biome. You must climb past the Mesa without ever having more than 10% Heat to get the Cool Cucumber Badge.
• Space Outfit: Earn the Aeronautics Badge by attaching six balloons to yourself and achieving flight. This will also grant you the Astronaut’s Helmet.

Facial Features & Accessories

These cosmetics are the most unique, ranging from different eye types to beards and facepaint.

• Broken Glasses: A classic cosmetic for the studious player. Read all of Scoutmaster Myre’s eight journal entries, which are scattered randomly across the mountain. This earns you the Bookworm Badge.
• Eye Patch: Earn the Plunderer Badge by opening 15 pieces of luggage in a single expedition.
• Ribbon Bow: This accessory is for the dedicated climber. You must deploy 100 meters of rope in a single expedition to get the Knot Tying Badge.
• Scratch Marks: Get the Megaentomology Badge by surviving an Antlion attack, which can be found disguised as luggage on the Mesa.
• Evil Smile: This one is a little dark. You must get your hunger to 70% and then have a friend who has a cooked chicken on them. Eat your friend to get the Resourcefulness Badge and the Evil Smile cosmetic.
